A linear BSL motor, which Sony is proud of, is used in the rotating system, and stable rotation is achieved by controlling with a servomechanism.

It uses a full automatic mechanism in which the turntable part is stored and the performance starts with one start button.
Manual operation is also possible by pulling out the turntable part.

It uses an opto-electronic disc selector that automatically selects the size by simply setting the record on the turntable and the tone arm accurately reads in.
In addition, the tone arm is not lowered even if the start button is pressed without setting a record.
