Original recording by Pat Dunford, 1967. "Most of the music on this disc was originally released on an LP album in 1967 on Kenneth Davidson's Kanawha label [Kanawha Records 307...In compiling this compact disc, we have taken advantage of the extra length format to include several other tunes from Pat Dunford's original tapes that were not on the Kanawha LP." Two tracks from the original LP were not reissued on CD: "Rickett's Hornpipe" (banjo solo), was replaced with the above trio version. "Cumberland Gap" was omitted.
